Pacific Bottleworks, a leading importer, distributor and marketer of specialty beverages in the Canadian market, has signed on to put Pulse Beverage's ($PLSB) Cabana lemonade line in its network stores and within the food-service industry in its reach. It will also house, ship and merchandise the product.

Not even a month ago, Pulse Beverage ($PLSB) landed a big distribution deal that put its Cabana lemonade in 250 convenience stores in the Midwest and South. And today, the company reported that it has sold out of its first 50,000 casees produced.

Unless you're still using your Commodore 64, you heard this week's bombshell that Steve Jobs is giving up the reins at Apple ($AAPL). When he made the annoucement, the stock dropped 5% in after-hours trading. But his vision and ethic is so deeply engrained in his staff that I have no doubt the Apple tree will continue to bear fruit for many decades to come.

One does NOT have to be a "visionary" to connect the dots as to the future of mass-market smartphones and tablet computers. The magic of the blood sport (aka, global competition) is bringing  <$99 3G tabs and smartphones to the world … FAST. Prepaid 3G network phones AND 4G are already here in U.S. … and prepaid 2.5G semi-smart phones in China are $10. 

Which means that <$99 tablets and smartphones will be coming to 4G-LTE … and $99 IS the inflection point where consumer technology goes mass market.
