Bitzio makes another acquisition! This time, they have acquired the animation rights to Columbian Soccer legend, Carlos Valderrama. This is a first step for Bitzio into making their sports and entertainment strategy come to fruition.

It’s well known that South Americans are rabid soccer fans, Columbia being no exception. By acquiring the animation rights to Mr. Valderrama, Bitzio can make a major push for their sports and entertainment strategy in the region.

Bitzio announced a strategic alliance with Pug Pharm Productions, Inc. ("Pug Pharm") yesterday which includes the integration of Pug Pharm's Picnic™ customer engagement engine, a multi-project commitment and shared advisory board positions.

We LOVE Pug Pharm’s technology…and assume this is a prelude to a deeper connection (read acquisition deal coming soon.)

Bitzio, Inc. (BTZO.OB), a leader in apps, mobile media and behavioral analytics, closed on the acquisition of Motion Pixel Corporation Holdings, Inc. ("MPC"), a high-end media and animation studio with operations in the U.S., Costa Rica, and India. Terms of the deal get disclosed in the upcoming 8-K filing.
