LuxeYard India Expansion

Just after the announcement of recently hired Jim Pouba to increase sales, LuxeYard has announced expanding in two areas. One in India (LuxeYard India) and the other online with Business to Business wholesale distribution, called TradeYard.

The first announcement about LuxeYard India shows a bold move by LuxeYard to increase its revenue overseas. To help push sales, LuxeYard has hired on one of India’s leading eCommerce pioneers, Sashi Chimala to lead the new team.

Serial entrepreneur, Jim Pouba, is the latest member to join the LuxeYard executive team. With 18 years of start-up experience in publishing, e-commerce, business process outsourcing, distribution and flash sale sites, Mr. Pouba has been named the new Vice President of Business Development. Previously a director of sales for Innerworkings who brought in $100 million in revenue, LuxeYard plans on using his expertise to develop additional and expanded revenue opportunities for the company.

NBT’s flash sales website pick, LuxeYard, hit its 700k Member Milestone. This is great news for the fast-growing boutique luxury company. This latest news puts our valuation per member at $191 (based on the average private market value of flash sales sites) and market cap > $120 million  conservatively…that’s over $3 a share in private market value (fully diluted).
