For long suffering VelaTel Global Communications (VELA) shareholders, the following words harken back to an era long ago, from the September bottom shares are up 550% and is our BEST performing stock in 4th quarter...wow.

I know many of you ADDED to your positions in the sell-off in early Fall caused by the sale of stock by employees who had been reimbursed for expenses via stock they immediately dumped…which of course tanked the stock.

Here is why this technology is so cool and so important to VelaTel. In keeping with their 4G carrier insurgent strategy—SIM overlay is PERFECT. Most every digital device—phone, tablet, Mi-Fi card or dongle has a SIM card (Subscriber Identity Module).

The SIM holds personal identity information, cell phone number, phone book, text messages and other data. It can be thought of as a mini hard disk that automatically activates the phone into which it is inserted.

As NBT and VelaTel (VELA) have expected this for some time, VELA's 4G TD-LTE wireless technology partner ZTE made it official today: ZTE is going to be shipping very high power 3.5 GHz 4G-LTE Base Stations to wireless carriers including VelaTel in the near future (Q3 we are told by ZTE sources).
