S1200, S2200, and the S2250 all sound like random model numbers to the average person. However, to IceWeb, they are the advancement in their cloud services. These new IceBOX-based appliances have been engineered to meet demands of the BYOD--the "bring your own device" marketplace-- according to CTO Gaurang Mehta of IceWeb.
BYOD is making significant inroads in the business world, with about 60% of employees already using their own technology at work. In most cases, businesses simply can't block the trend. Some believe that BYOD may help employees be more productive. Others say it increases employee morale and convenience by using their own devices and makes the company look like a flexible and attractive employer.
The new IceBOX solutions will enable customers to setup and configure a Private Digital Cloud while maintaining control over their corporate data assets. They also made it easier to setup off-site replications to protect corporate data assets.“These appliances advance our cloud services another step beyond secure collaboration. We’re delivering a level of sophistication that advanced customers need today,” said Rob Howe, CEO of IceWEB.
