If this WAS a movie, the Medient Studios story would be about a tiny group of idealistic movie makers bucking the odds and doing what NONE of the giants in their industry thought they could…build the largest movie studio in the Western world just outside of Savannah Georgia.
Medient has initiated engineering, clearing and grading of the property, as part of a construction plan to have the studioplex operational by the first quarter of 2014.
This news comes at the SAME time that independent film production studio Pinewood Studios…where the Bond films are made and the next Star Wars movie is scheduled to be made…has its plans to double its size BLOCKED
Yes Virginia…there ARE parts of the United States that actually ENCOURAGE capitalism…all hail Savannah! Medient Studios has just begun construction on its visionary 1500 acre “studioplex” designed to make multiple motion pictures simultaneously with multiple languages at 35% LOWER cost than traditional movie making…including old tech studios like Pinewood outside of London.
